Cycling in Amsterdam

In Amsterdam today where its warm and sunny. Stayed over with my old
friend from Choate, Doug Heingartner. His girl recommended renting a
bike as the best way to experience the town, which turned out to be
great advice. It was good fun cruising over the many canal bridges and
through wooded parks. I took a break from the sun and checked out the
Van Gogh
Museum, which was impressive.

Does that bike have Bullseye hubs, bottem bracket or headset? Are you getting used to the beard? Pop

I'm gonna miss checking your blog every morning now that your stint in London is over. Hope to see you this summer in Port Jefferson.

Gary, if you're talking about where I rented the bike, I tried to go to a place like that, but it was closed so I rented from a big place near the Station Centraal.

No Bullseye hubs, but I am used to the beard and will probably keep it when I get back.

Kathy, I'm glad you've come to enjoy my blog - I've come to enjoy posting it every day. I'm actually thinking of converting over to a general purpose blog, where I maybe update it every week or so. May not be quite as interesting, but we'll see!
