No need for me to go to Memphis - Atlanta has everything including a large Elvis shrine in the Star Bar. After our exhausting bicycle patrol through the mean streets of Zone 6 we came to the Star Bar for refreshments and were able to listen to a couple of bands. During the last month in Atlanta I have seen more bands play live than in the entire last year!
Even Morrisey was playing live in Atlanta yesterday!! I only noted that while I cycled past the variety playhouse in Little Five Points yesterday and it was sold out! Too late - I was very upset.
