On Saturday morning we left Savannah for Tybee Island which is located 18 miles east of Savannah. It was still freezing cold and the streets and the beach were almost deserted. This trip seemed like a timetravel: from a 19th century town to a beach town in the 70ies. Still I was happy to be back in ATL on Saturday night where it rained almost non-stop until Monday evening.
